Hersh Research Institute LLC

Effective as of July 7, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Hersh Research Institute LLC (“HRI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase through impactaccelerator.online and matthersh.com, together with any related subdomains, landing pages, and web properties we operate (collectively, the “Sites”), or when you otherwise interact with our programs, content, and services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. By providing us with your information, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

Certain programs may be delivered by HRI in partnership with third parties, including Realign Global. Where a signed agreement identifies the contracting parties for a particular program, that agreement, together with this Privacy Policy, governs how your information is handled for that program.

Information We Collect

“Personal information” means any information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you. We may collect the following categories:

  • Contact and Identity Information. Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, social media handles, and similar identifiers, collected when you fill out forms, apply to a program, book a call, subscribe to our emails, or message us.
  • Customer and Transaction Information. Details relating to purchases of our programs and services, including billing information, purchase history, and enrollment details. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors (such as Stripe) and are not stored on our systems.
  •  The contents of messages you send us via email, contact forms, SMS, social media (including Instagram direct messages), community platforms (such as Slack), and any other channel, which we keep for record-keeping, support, and the establishment or defense of legal claims.
  • Program Participation Content. Information you share while participating in our programs, including on coaching calls, in community spaces, and in materials you submit. Coaching sessions and program calls may be recorded as described in your program agreement.
  • Technical and Usage Information. IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time on page, referral source, and similar analytics data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Sites.
  • Marketing Preferences. Your preferences for receiving marketing from us and your engagement with our emails, ads, and content.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as race or ethnicity, religious beliefs, health information, or biometric data, and we ask that you do not submit such information through the Sites.

How We Collect Information

We collect information (a) directly from you, when you fill out forms, apply, enroll, book calls, message us, or participate in our programs; (b) automatically, through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies as you use the Sites; and (c) from third parties, including analytics providers (such as Google), advertising platforms (such as Meta/Facebook and Instagram), scheduling tools (such as Calendly), messaging automation tools (such as ManyChat), email service providers (such as ActiveCampaign), and payment processors (such as Stripe).

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services and deliver programs you enroll in;
  • Process payments and manage enrollments, invoices, and payment plans;
  • Communicate with you, including responding to inquiries, sending program information, and providing support;
  • Send marketing communications where permitted, which you can opt out of at any time;
  • Deliver and measure advertising, including through the Meta pixel and similar tools;
  • Analyze how the Sites are used so we can improve content, offers, and user experience;
  • Maintain the security of the Sites and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • Keep records and establish, pursue, or defend legal claims; and
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

AI Tools

Some of our Services incorporate artificial intelligence tools, such as AI assistants and automated content tools. Information you submit to AI-powered features may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses. We do not use AI tools to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information through AI-powered features.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, email delivery, scheduling, customer relationship management, messaging automation, website hosting, analytics, video conferencing, e-signature, and community platforms. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.
  • Program partners, such as Realign Global, where a program is delivered jointly and access to participant information is necessary to deliver that program.
  • Advertising platforms, such as Meta, to deliver and measure advertising, including through pixels and custom audiences based on hashed contact information.
  • Professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants, bankers, and insurers, where necessary.
  • Government bodies and law enforcement, where required by law or to protect our rights.
  • Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) to operate the Sites, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website.

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies. Required for the Sites to function, including page navigation, security, checkout, and account access. These cannot be switched off through our Sites.
  • Functional cookies. Remember your preferences and choices to provide a more personalized experience.
  • Analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors use the Sites — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and how they arrived — so we can improve content and user experience.
  • Advertising cookies. Used to deliver ads relevant to you and measure ad effectiveness. This includes the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel, which may collect information about your visit and match it to your Meta account for ad targeting and measurement, including through custom and lookalike audiences.

Portions of the Sites and our checkout, content delivery, and link pages are operated on third-party platforms, each of which may set its own cookies subject to its own privacy and cookie policies. These include Kajabi (website, course content, and checkout hosting), Whop (certain digital product listings and checkout), Stripe (payment processing and fraud prevention), Liinks (link-in-bio pages), Meta (the advertising pixel described above), and scheduling, email, and messaging tools such as Calendly, ActiveCampaign, and ManyChat. We do not control cookies set by third-party platforms; please review those platforms’ own policies for details.

You can set your browser to refuse some or all cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being set. You can limit mobile ad tracking through your device settings (such as “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android), and you can manage Meta ad preferences through your Facebook and Instagram ad settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Sites — including checkout and members-only content — may not function properly.

Marketing Communications

If you have made a purchase, requested information from us, or otherwise agreed to receive marketing, we may send you marketing emails and messages. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, replying STOP to any marketing text message, or emailing us at [email protected]. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional or program-related communications, such as receipts, program updates, and account notices.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected, including to satisfy legal, tax, accounting, and reporting requirements. For tax purposes, we generally keep basic customer and transaction records for at least seven years after the transaction. We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to personal information is limited to those who need it to operate the business. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to access it, to correct it, to request deletion, and to opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information we hold about you, the right to opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and the right to non-discrimination. We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent our use of advertising pixels constitutes “sharing” under California law, you may opt out by contacting us at [email protected] or adjusting your cookie and ad settings.

Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights. To exercise any privacy right, email us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful bases for processing are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and growing our business, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where required.

International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information will be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those of your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Links

The Sites may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, and applications. Clicking on those links may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised effective date at the top of this page and will be effective as soon as it is posted. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
